Malawian Man Found Dead Along The Road In Nkhata Bay.

Police in the northern district of Malawi, Nkhata Bay have found a dead body of a 48 year old man identified as Yohane Matengele at Mukwiya along Nkhata Bay-Chintheche road.

Speaking to News Watch Reviews, Nkhata Bay Police Publist Ignatius Esau said Mr Matengele was living in Mzuzu and on June 8, 2017, he came to visit his sister who lives at Mukwiya in the distirict.

“Whilst at his sister’s residence, Matengele decided to visit a nearby drinking place where he was having some beverages”, said Esau.

He added, “the deceased didn’t report back home until the next day when his body was found lying dead along Nkhata Bay-Chintheche road with some blood stains on his head and face”, concluded Esau.

An autopsy conducted at Nkhata Bay district hospital indicated that Matengele’s death was due to head injury and police in the district have launched an investigation into the matter.
